NEWBURGH, Ind. (May 3, 2022)—Families and sports fans have a new, indoor option when searching for entertainment in Newburgh. FRG4 recently opened Swings™ Multi-Sport Simulator Entertainment, an interactive, indoor sports simulator that offers 13 highly engaging sports. Swings is connected to the Wings Etc. Newburgh, Ind., location and provides an excellent opportunity for family fun.

“Guests love it. We are booking up on reservations and receiving lots of walk-ins,” said Manish Malhotra, partner with FRG4 and Wings Etc. franchisee. “What we have seen so far is a lot of families coming in. Dad and mom are having their meal, while the kids are enjoying the simulator. Having 13 different games provides a variety of options for the entire family.”

Swings offers a range of games, including golf, baseball, football, soccer, lacrosse, and a unique and popular zombie dodgeball feature. Guests who utilize a simulator bay are encouraged to bring their own equipment, such as golf clubs, but can also take advantage of the balls and equipment provided.

Malhotra recently added the simulator to his Wings Etc. restaurant to bring more family entertainment in the Newburgh area. In 2019, he visited a restaurant in Illinois with a simulator attached to their location and thought it would be an excellent fit for the Newburgh community.

“I really liked the concept of having the simulator attached to a restaurant, and it makes sense for Wings Etc.” he said. “If you look at the Wings Etc. vision, it’s to provide ‘Good Food, Great Times’ and Swings is another way to add to the great times people already experience here. It really fits with our entire mission.” 

Swings uses technology from Full Swing Simulators®. While many other simulator brands focus solely on golf, Malhotra said he chose Full Swings Simulators because of the variety of game packages it provides.

“We wanted to provide more family entertainment and be a one-stop family-fun sports bar,” said Malhotra. “We expanded our party room with this addition, so now we can now host bigger parties up to 50-70 people.”

Malhotra said Swings makes an excellent destination for birthday parties, office parties, and other get-togethers.

In addition to personal and family entertainment, Malhotra said Swings and Wings Etc. are partnering with local sports teams to provide a practice area for students when weather prohibits outdoor practice.
