Wings Etc. Boiling Springs, S.C., Sponsors Local Favorite Jeremy Clements Racing at Aug. 14 ‘Pennzoil 150 at The Brickyard’ NASCAR Xfinity Event

Local connection between South Carolina-based Jeremy Clements Racing and Wings Etc. Grill & Pub in Boiling Springs will be on display this weekend at IMS “Pennzoil 150 at The Brickyard” event

BOILING SPRINGS, S.C. (Aug. 13, 2021)—Scott McFalls and Jeremy Clements have an established local friendship. McFalls owns the local Wings Etc. Grill & Pub in Boiling Springs, South Carolina, and Clements—a NASCAR Xfinity Series driver—is a regular at the nearby pub. Their connection has turned into a sponsorship for this Saturday’s “Pennzoil 150 at The Brickyard” NASCAR Xfinity race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

“Jeremy and many of his team members have been guests at our Wings Etc. for a while, and we stand by the philosophy that if we can help local friends, we should,” said McFalls. “Sponsoring Jeremy’s team is part of our mission to give back to the community any time we can.”

For the Aug. 14, 2021, race, the Jeremy Clements Racing #51 Chevrolet Camaro will feature a jet-black skin and will prominently display the Wings Etc. logo and Wings Etc. mascots, “Angry Chicken” and “Big Chicken,” two puppet characters that have appeared in Wings Etc. TV commercials since 2009.

“It’s really great that JCR has been blessed to team up with another new partner, Wings Etc. Grill & Pub and Scott McFalls,” Clements said. “They have really great food, and the restaurant here close to our shop is always packed! Plus, they have a 25-year connection to Indiana and to local motorsports, so if you’re coming to the Brickyard this weekend, check out a Wings location near the track. I know I will.”

McFalls said fans watching in Boiling Springs can celebrate at Wings Etc., where Jeremy Clements-signed Hero Card giveaways and live music will add to the event. Local artist Caleb Kennedy (of American Idol fame) will perform after the race. Wings Etc. will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday. The NASCAR Xfinity “Pennzoil 150 at The Brickyard” race starts Saturday, Aug. 14 at 4 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on NBCS Network.
