Wings Etc. Vienna raises over $10,000 for area teams and charities through ‘Dine to Donate’ program

So far in 2023, Wings Etc. Vienna has held 19 ‘Dine to Donate’ events, which have generated $10,196 in donations for area causes.

VIENNA, W.V. (Aug. 28, 2023)— When Wings Etc. Vienna opened in 2022, they had big plans to give back to their community. In 2023, those plans came to fruition. As of August, Wings Etc. Vienna has successfully raised over $10,196 for various area charities, organizations, and kid’s sports teams through a series of impactful “Dine to Donate” events. The initiative, which has involved hosting 19 fundraising events, has demonstrated the community’s strong spirit of support and collaboration.

“PMC, our parent company, has always been focused on helping the community,” said Wings Etc. Vienna General Manager Mike Eis. “This is a core value of our company. When we have success as a company, we want to help our community succeed with us.”

Eis noted that these values are what originally attracted him to Wings Etc. and PMC.

“When you have the opportunity to help and support all of these local teams and charities with an event such as our ‘Dine to Donate’ events, it is a no-brainer to say yes to as many as we can,” he added.

“Dine to Donate” programs have become a hallmark of Wings Etc.’s commitment to giving back to the communities that have supported them. Under this initiative, individuals, families, and groups came together to enjoy delicious meals at Wings Etc.’s Vienna location, knowing that a percentage of the day’s sales would be donated to a worthy cause.

The charities, organizations, and schools that have benefited from these fundraising events include Madison Elementary Boys Basketball, Greenmont Elementary Boys Basketball, Club Ohio 2015 Boys Soccer, MOV Ice Fastpitch Softball, Worthington Baseball, Wrangler Golf Tournament, U12 Boys Soccer – Predators, Big Reds Football, Children’s Home Society of West Virginia, Club Ohio United Girls Soccer 2012/2013 (two times), MOV Youth Choir, PHS Girls Basketball, Club Ohio United Girls 2010 (two times), City of Vienna Freedom Festival, North Parkersburg Ramblers, Vienna Rec. Cheer, PHS Softball, MOV Premier 13U, PHS Big Red Soccer, PHS Cross Country, American Legion Golf Scramble, and Parkersburg South High School Soccer.

Wings Etc. Vienna’s commitment to giving back to the community continues with more “Dine to Donates” planned for 2023, including a “Dine to Donate” on Sept. 25 from 4-10 p.m. for Parkersburg High School Cheer.
