Caldwell, Marietta Wings Etc. owners bringing popular grill and pub to Belpre

Progress continues on the reconstruction project at the Washington Square Shopping Center, where a Wings Etc. is expected to open in the coming months

BELPRE, Ohio (Sept. 27, 2022)—With success in Caldwell and Marietta, Wings Etc. franchisees Kyle and Kristen Huck and Chad and Missy Huck are looking forward to bringing their popular sports grill and pub to the Belpre community. Construction for the new location is underway at the recently remolded Washington Square Shopping Center located in the heart of the city. Kyle Huck explained that the restaurant is expected to be open in Belpre late this year or early next year.

“We’re looking forward to opening in Belpre to give the residents a fun, laidback option for family dining,” Huck said, who noted that Belpre voters approved the new location for their liquor license. “Construction has been moving pretty smoothly, and we’re excited to be open as soon as possible.”

The Hucks opened their first Wings Etc. in Marietta in 2015. Three years later, in 2018, they opened a location in Caldwell. With the addition of a third store in Belpre, Kyle Huck said it’s a testament to how much the area loves Wings Etc., and how much his family loves being part of the restaurant concept.

“We love being part of the Wings Etc. family,” said Huck. “Everything from the food to the vibe is a great fit for us, and we find our guests love it too.”

Wings Etc. offers a wide range of menu options, but Huck said the jumbo Buffalo wings, in particular, are a huge hit partly thanks to the many sauce flavors Wings Etc. offers.

“We’ve been able to sponsor a lot of things in the community thanks to our business,” he said. “Part of why I wanted to be a restaurant owner was to fill a need in these communities—that’s really why I started this—and thanks to our growth, we’ve been able to give back a lot.”
