FORT WAYNE, Ind. (June 6, 2022)— After two highly successful Food Fight competitions, the battle rages on at Wings Etc. with new meaty sub sandwich options and refreshing drink duels. Now through Sept. 5, 2022, three Wings Etc. Fort Wayne locations (Bluffton Road, Dupont Road, and Maysville Road) will feature two brand new menu items—the Hawgzilla 2.0 and the Pulled Brisket Po’ Boy. Guests will also get a chance to vote* on their favorite refreshing drink as warm-weather favorite Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy faces off against contenders Kona Brewing Co.’s Big Wave and Wings Etc.’s signature Hawaiian Surf cocktail.
Round 1—Wings Etc. guests who love the signature Hawgzilla will be challenged to try its new upgrade, the Hawgzilla 2.0. This limited time sandwich features the two major food groups: pulled pork and bacon and comes with house coleslaw and dill pickles layered between. Topped with Wings Etc. signature BBQ sauce and mayo on a grilled sub roll, this new favorite will have guests in Hawg Heaven. Also fighting for the top spot is Wings Etc.’s new Pulled Brisket Po’ Boy. This meaty sandwich is a Wings Etc. twist on a beloved classic. Featuring pulled beef brisket on a grilled sub roll and topped with quick-pickled onions and house-made horseradish sauce, this new sandwich offers a flavor combo that makes it a serious contender for the top spot in the Wings Etc. Food Fight.
Round 2—Surf’s up this summer with Wings Etc.’s summer drink fight. Warm-weather favorite Leinenkugel’s Sumer Shandy will go head-to-head with Kona Brewing Co.’s Big Wave Golden Ale and Wings Etc.’s signature Hawaiian Surf cocktail. Wings Etc.’s Hawaiian Surf combines Malibu and Blue Curacao with refreshing pineapple juice and pina colada mix and comes topped with a juicy orange and cherry fruit combination.
Who will win? You decide.
