New Executive Chef to guide menu development through record growth at Wings Etc. Grill & Pub

Newly-appointed Executive Chef Josh Farmer’s 20+ years of experience in fine dining, multiunit foodservice, and bar & grill concepts will help drive improvements in menu offerings and guest experience as Wings Etc. nears the 100-location mark

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Feb. 10, 2022)—With the addition of Executive Chef Josh Farmer to its culinary team, Wings Etc. Grill & Pub feels strongly positioned to refine and improve food and drink offerings as it continues experiencing record sales and system growth. Farmer comes to Wings Etc. with 21 years of foodservice experience, most recently as Executive Chef for the South Bend Cubs baseball organization.

“We are thrilled to welcome Josh to the team as our Executive Chef,” said Wings Etc. CEO Rob Hensmann. “His years of experience working with award-winning restaurants and some of the most recognized organizations in the food industry will be a great asset.”

Farmer received his Culinary Arts degree from Le Cordon Bleu in Minneapolis, Minn., and—in addition to the South Bend Cubs position—has filled chef roles at highly acclaimed restaurants including Solera in Minneapolis, which was named one of the 10 best restaurants in the world in 2003. Farmer also served as Executive Chef for Biaggi’s Ristorante Italiano in Carmel, Ind., and has held chef positions at Seasons 52, Indianapolis, and The Breakers—a 5-star resort with over a dozen kitchens in Palm Beach, Fla.

Farmer, who resides in the greater South Bend area with his wife, Lindsay, and their daughter, Ava, is passionate about sharing what he’s learned with others. He expressed excitement at the opportunity to grow the Wings Etc. brand with a focus on producing high and consistent quality menu items.

“I love the Wings Etc. concept,” said Farmer. “There are a lot of sports bar concepts out there, but I think we do it better, and there is always room to continue that growth. This is a concept that I feel like I can help grow.”

Wings Etc. recently opened its 77th location (Dexter, Missouri) and continues its record growth in 2022, with new locations opening in Texas, Florida, Minnesota, and West Virginia.
