Wings Etc. Peru partners with Miami County Helping Hands to raise money for those in need

PERU, Ind. (Nov. 17, 2022)—On Nov. 22, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Wings Etc. Peru will host a fundraiser where 15% of eligible pre-tax food and soft drink sales (alcohol excluded) will benefit Miami County Helping Hands. Wings Etc. Peru store manager Jordan Rose explained that the local nonprofit helps the community in a multitude of ways.

“Miami County Helping Hands uses donated money to help families in need with groceries and basic necessities,” said Rose. “They also provide limited financial assistance to those who need help with utilities, transportation, and heating bills, which is very essential this time of year.”

Miami County Helping Hands relies on community support and provides emergency food assistance to help alleviate hunger in the community. Rose explained that the team at Wings Etc. Peru is excited to help the group fulfill its mission.

“I really love what this organization does,” said Rose. “They have been helping the community of Peru for over 20 years, and we’re honored to give back in this way.”

Those wishing to participate must show a fundraiser flyer to their server or bartender. Flyers can be obtained from Miami County Helping Hands, located at 176 N. Broadway St. in Peru.
