Wings Etc. Topeka partners with The Woman’s Club of Topeka for fundraiser

From open to close on Nov. 16, Wings Etc. Topeka will donate 15% of eligible food and soft drink sales to The Woman’s Club of Topeka

TOPEKA, Kan. (Nov. 15, 2022)—On Nov. 16, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Wings Etc. Topeka will host a fundraising event for the Woman’s Club of Topeka. Fifteen percent of eligible carry-out and dine-in sales will benefit the club. Wings Etc. Topeka owner Dave Clingenpeel explained that one of the club members is a regular at the store and that he was excited to give back.

“When I was approached and asked if we could help the Woman’s Club of Topeka, I was thrilled to assist,” said Clingenpeel. “We’re always looking for ways to be involved. One of the ladies in the club is also part of the Topeka Jayhawk Club, which comes to Wings to watch the Kansas University football and basketball games. I was especially excited to give back to a regular who spends so much time with us. It’s really a win/win for everyone involved.”

The Woman’s Club of Topeka is a social organization that focuses on citizenship, charity, and education. Aside from hosting social groups and club activities, the money raised is used toward scholarships for those that would like to attend Washburn School of Nursing or Baker University for Nursing.

Those wishing to help Wings Etc. Topeka raise money for the cause can do so by dining in or ordering carry-out directly through the restaurant on Nov. 16 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. To participate, guests must let their server know they are there for the dine to donate and provide a copy of the Dine to Donate flyer, which can be obtained on the Wings Etc. Topeka Facebook page. During the event, 15% of food and soft drink sales (no alcohol) will benefit The Woman’s Club of Topeka.
