Wings Etc. Wabash raising funds for local veteran who lost home in fire

On Wednesday, June 15, from open to close, 15% of the day’s food and soft drink sales will benefit a local veteran who recently lost his home in a fire

June 10, 2022 (WABASH, Ind.)—The team at Wings Etc. Wabash is often looking for ways to aid their community. So when they were approached to help a veteran in need, they jumped at the opportunity to assist. On Wednesday, June 15, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., 15% of the day’s dine-in and carry-out sales from all food and non-alcoholic drink orders will be donated to a local veteran who recently lost his home and personal items in a fire. Wings Etc. Wabash is working with the American Red Cross and Guardian Warriors to assist the veteran.

“This is part of what we do,” said Wings Etc. Wabash General Manager Tina Floor. “We always try to help those in our community when we can. Plus, Wings Etc. Wabash owner Bryan Burcroff is a veteran, so this one was personal for him.”

In addition to the proceeds collected during the Dine to Donate, Wings Etc. Wabash will be raffling off a wooden American flag sign donated by local Wabash artist Mark Koerner.

To help, guests can dine at Wings Etc. Wabash from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. No flyer is required for the event, and 15% of all dine-in and carry-out food and soft drink sales from the day will benefit the local veteran who lost his home in a fire.

Wings Etc. Wabash is owned and operated by Bryan and April Burcroff and is located at 1439 Cass St., Wabash, Indiana.
